Yes, the americans are familiar ONLY with Ferenheit degrees.
Where it will be 100*F, in Bucharest? because in Phoenix summertime temperatures are much higher, not less then 110*F daily !!! 
but 115*F it is usual ... and above ... many times.

I have never understood farenheit. It means nothing to me! I thought american weather forcasts gave you temps in celcius as well as farenheit But its been a long time since i was in the states.

The Fahrenheit scale is used only in the United States.
In the past 20 years, it was only in Fahrenheit degrees expressed te temperatures, I remember clearly.
So many stupid people in this world... (sighs)

We use both in England. But mainly celsius, which is the official one.
