Books

You have just reminded me Helene, that i want to read a book on the History of Egypt!! Am fascinated by the Pyramids and al that stuff. Am gonna go look for one later

I have discovered myself that i am interested in other kind of books than i have been interested in before. Years before i wouldn't have wanted to read other books than those who involved a love story, but the literature i discovered during the university time opened many doors for my interests. since i have read only British, American and French literature now i want to explore other cultures and civilizations.

I agree Helene, once you start with books they lead on to all types of things!

The weirdest book I have readover recent years (and neber finished) was called "Black Holes, Worm Holes and Time Machines" and a lot of it was about Einsteins theories about space time. Was very interesting but a little hard to follow in places!

well i stick to "belles lettres", if you know what i mean. i haven't read any book on science, politics or smth like that. i am not interested in this type of writing. i like to learn new things about science or politics or religion (fields that don't concern me usually) only if they are wrapped up in a captivating story. i might do some research afterwards but only if the writer is able to stir my curiosity.

Normally I stick to fiction, but occasionally wander over to read another genre - but not often. Especially as it takes me ages to read a book.
