Well, I didn't have the chance to browse through the whole topic (actually I just clicked the last page :P), but this last reply cought my attention. I wonder how many of us are still using the internet from a cafe nowadays?

I remember a time when I used to spend at least a couple of hours a day chatting on the IRC or looking up things which at that time interested with the now all-so-popular Google.

I remember trying to download a song from a website, a download which took abot thirty minutes, and then split the song into three parts which I copied onto the floppy disks. Of course, when I got home I realized the file was corrupt...good ol'days, right? And now, If I want to see a flick I can download it in no more than fifteen minutes...

Things sure have changed. What do you guys think?

I've never used an internet cafe in my life. I only ever see foreign students using them these day. A lot of pubs in england are providing free internet for customers now too. Same as an internet cafe I guess, but you only pay for drinks

me too. sometimes there were some games played on the internet but a big chunk of my time spent in net cafes was with games. i used irc when i was in highschool but i got bored of it really quick. i wouldn't enter a net cafe now unless i had an emergency

I just hate getting up ;) My wife has gotten used to me getting up just before her to go make her coffee. I'm doomed to getting up early for the rest of my life
