BUCHAREST / 14:45, 28.07.2008 The situation on the Prut river at the border with Moldova remains critical, but the number of people evacuated because of the recent flooding is down to 11,720 state secretary Victor Paul Dobre said Monday.A In northern Romania, in five counties, namely 137 localities, 73 homes were destroyed and another 2,196 damaged by the flooding, according to the report presented by Dobre.
