Romanian IT Market Down 25% In 2010, To EUR800M

Romania"s IT market shrunk by 25% last year, to EUR800 million, following a 20% decline in 2009, said Liviu Dragan, member on the board of the Software and Services Industry Employers" Association (ANIS), in a press conference.Last year, Romanian exports of IT products and services grew 10%, to around EUR500 million.

ANIS expects IT exports to grow by a further 10% this year.Dragan also said outsourcing accounts for 60% of the local IT business.
