BUCHAREST / 20:25, 18.07.2008 Romanian tennis player Victor Hanescu reached the semifinals of the tournament in Kitzbuhel, Austria, which offers EUR571,000 in prizes, the official site of the competition informed.

Hanescu previously defeated Argentinean Brian Dabul in the quarterfinals, 6-3, 6-4, and his qualification in the semifinals will bring him 110 ATP points and a cheque worth EUR28,800. Last week, Hanescu won the tournament in Gstaad, Switzerland.
