BUCHAREST / 17:17, 17.08.2008 Romanian Sandra Izbasa won the women"s floor exercise gold medal at the Beijing Olympic Games on Sunday.

Izbasa scored 15.650 to edge out reigning world champion Shawn Johnson of the United States into second position on 15.500, her compatriot Nastia Liukin claiming bronze with 15.425.
