CLUJ-NAPOCA / 16:02, 2.07.2008 A team of 15 Romanian climbers is set to depart on July 19 for a one-month expedition to Tian Shan mountains on the Kyrgyzstana€"Kazakhstan border to conquest the 7,010 m peak of Khan Tengri."The expedition aims to promote university mountain climbing, as well as to test the equipment created for climbers and the human body’s reactions to altitude," said Vasile Cipcigan, head of the Mountain Rescue Service in Cluj county, western Romania.
