BUCHAREST / 14:43, 20.09.2008 Romania won two gold medals in the European Rowing Championships in Greece in the womena€™s double sculls and 8+1, according to the competitiona€™s official website.

Romanian rowers Georgeta Andrunache and Viorica Susanu, who also brought home Olympic gold from Beijing, were followed by Russia and Belarus. A  The second gold medal was secured by Romania’s 8+1 rowing team, beating Great Britain and Belarus.
