BUCHAREST / 14:32, 22.08.2008 The railway station Ploiesti Sud, southern Romania, was evacuated Friday because of a bomb alert, and the police are now checking the area to find the explosives.A Intelligence services and police units went to the scene following a call to the emergency number 112 announcing a bomb had been placed in the Ploiesti Sud railway station.The station was evacuated, and the bomb squad initiated a check up, which is in progress at this moment.
