BUCHAREST / 13:47, 14.07.2008 Romaniaa€™s meteorological authority sent out code yellow warnings to 16 counties in northern Romania, where thunderstorms and heavy rain is expected on Tuesday.

Heavy rain is expected starting Monday night and is seen exceeding 25 liters per square meter and even 40- 45 liters per square meter in the mountains.
