BUCHAREST / 11:12, 16.07.2008 Romaniaa€™s current account deficit rose 11.08% on the year in January-May period to EUR6.526 billion, due mainly to a rise of the trade deficit, the central bank said in a statement.In the first five months the year before, the current account deficit stood at EUR5.875 billion.The current account deficit was 63% covered by foreign direct investment, which totaled EUR4.114 billion.
