09.2008 Romaniaa€™s High Court of Justice postponed Friday for October 6 the corruption trial of former agriculture ministers Decebal Traian Remes and Ioan Avram Muresan.The third defendant in the trial, businessman Gheorghe Ciorba, asked the court for a new term to allow him to hire a lawyer.Remes and Muresan were accused of corruption influence peddling for allegedly favoring Ciorba’s firm in a public procurement auction in exchange for a luxury car, food products...
