BUCHAREST / 10:01, 7.08.2008 Romanian industrial output grew 5.9% on the year in the first six months of the year, while in June alone, it was 4% higher compared with the corresponding month a year earlier, the National Statistics Institute said Thursday.The institute said the growth in the first six months of the year was driven by energy and manufacturing sectors, whose output grew 6.7% and 6.9% on the year respectively.

Output in the mining sector was down 2.2% in the same period.On the year...
