Google maps shows your position in real-time. This is a small application that uploads your GPS position periodically over GPRS or 3G on a moving Google Map. All you need is a GPS device, but you can also download and use the free GPSGate simulator for 14 days. Once you are familiar with the Google Maps with GPS, you can buy a GPS device according to your needs and preferences. Clicking the settings button you can select the GPS tab, allowing you to configure the GPS type, the COM Port on the PC, the baude rate and the kilometers or miles for distance. You probably have to permit access of the program through Windows firewall and other security tools, but after that you will no longer have to do that. It displays your current location with the usual indicator on a Google Map.
