Description Foxit Reader
Many consider this program to be faster and lighter than Adobe Reader. Users have to be careful with the setup process, watching the two boxes that make Ask your default search provider and home page and toward the end, optout of the Addin for Mozilla, Opera, Safari and Chrome. Once the installation is over, the rest should be very simple. The toolbars are customizable, users can choose the color scheme (black, blue, orange, purple) and a new ribbon-style menu and customize the shortcut keys as they wish. Unlike Adobe Reader, Foxit has tabbed viewing, text-only view, rulers, Safe Mode and a few annotation tools that allow highlighting and commenting. It can't create PDFs, it annoys users with add-ons and upgrades but overall, it's a really good alternative to Adobe Reader.
