FlashGet is a program made to solve two of the biggest problems when it comes to downloading files: download speed and management of downloaded files. If you have experienced deficiencies such as slow or cut off connection during download, then it is recommended to install FlashGet. After installing the program, a small black icon will appear in the upper right corner of the screen and it will stay there permanently on top of every other used program. To download the files, simply drag the link onto the icon and click the OK button. The download will begin automatically. It supports bit torrent files, segmented downloading, FTP recognition. You can even download multiple files from the same site in a Windows Explorer-like interface using a feature called Site Explorer, which saves a lot of time during navigation on graphics-heavy sites. It supports HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, BT, MMS, MMST, RTSP, ed2k protocols.
