Description File Scavenger
File Scavenger is a Windows NT/2000/2003/XP file-undelete and data-recovery utility. Files accidentally deleted from Windows Explorer, the Recycle Bin, the DOS command line, or a network share can be recovered along with original folder names and the dates that files were created and modified. Reformatted volumes, broken spanned volumes, or broken hardware and software RAID volumes also can be recovered. Digital photos on most media can be recovered. Version 3 has been improved and now can find lost data under more situations; can run up to twice faster; can scan very large disks containing up to 1 million files; can offer a more streamlined user interface; can provide new commands to save and reload a session so that a disk needs not be scanned again; supports both NTFS and FAT/FAT32 volumes; and scans disk image files.
