Ripping your CD collection has never been easier. CDex is a program that records audio tracks from CDs and saves them to disk as WAV files or as encoded sound files. The utility does a lot of other things such as CD ripping or audio ripping and creates PLS and M3U playlist files. It also has a Media File Player. It comes with MP3 decoder (MPEG 1/2/3-based) and LAME encoder and a built-in support to generate OGG Vorbis files. It has support for various languages (English, German, Italian and Spanish), for jitter correction, for ID3V1 and V2 tags, for normalization and audio files, for transcoding of compressed audio files, for CDDB.
