Details

Tomboy is a french film directed by Céline Sciamma. The action revolves around a 10-year-old girl who claims she is a boy after moving to a new place.

Laura (Zoé Héran) moves into a new place and makes everyone believe that she is a boy named Mickaël, as she is in need of friends and does not know anybody. She comes close to Lisa (Jeanne Disson) who falls in love with Mickaël, not knowing that her best friend is actually a girl.

When Lisa gets into a fight to protect her little sister, something unexpected comes up and Laura's secret is threatened by disclosure.
