The 1995 film presents the interrogation of Roger Kint (Kevin Spacey), one of the two survivors of a massacre and fire on a ship from Los Angeles Port. He tells the interrogator a complicated story about the reasons that determined him and four other criminals to go to the boat.

Moreover, he tells him about Keyser Soze, a legendary criminal who ordered their work. The boat explosion led to the death of 27 men. While Kint uses flashback and narration, the story gets even more complicated.
