The Muppets is an american musical comedy film about three muppet fans who try to save the muppet theater from demolition. Walter (Peter Linz), his brother Gary (Jason Segel) and Gary's girlfriend Mary (Amy Adams), the world's biggest muppet fans, decide to raise 10 million dollars to save the theater from an oil tycoon who wants to drill under the theater.

In order for their plan to succeed, they first must find the old muppets. Kermit lives in his Hollywood mansion, Gonzo works as a plumber, Fozzie performs with a band called The Moopets, Miss Piggy is a fashion editor at Vogue Paris and Animal is in an anger-management rehab clinic.
