Details
Sunset Blvd is an American film noir directed by Billy Wilder. His name was inspired by the famous boulevard that runs through Los Angeles and Beverly Hills, California.
The action is set in the '50s, when Norma Desmond, a long-forgotten silent-screen actress (Gloria Swanson) lives in her Sunset Boulevard mansion only with her butler Max, who once was her husband and director.
She wants to make an extravagant comeback and she starts an affair with Joe Gillis, a writer. What she doesn't know is that her relationship with Gillis will take a turn for the worse.
