Stealing Beauty is a drama film directed by Bernardo Bertolucci. The film centers on an american teenage girl named Lucy Harmon (Liv Tyler) who travels to Italy to stay with her recently dead mother's friends. Lucy comes to the Tuscan countryside to live with her mother's friends. She visited the villa four years earlier, when she met a boy named Niccolo whom she hopes to meet again.

Lucy's mother commited suicide and now she wants to discover the identity of her biological father. Lucy read in her mother's diary that she was conceived here at the villa, so she has every reason to believe that her real father is still there. She arouses the interest of the men of the household, but the virgin Lucy seems to look for the right man with whom she seeks to have her first sexual intercourse.
