Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol is an action film and the fourth film of the Mission: Impossible series. Tom Cruise reprises his role of Agent Ethan Hunt.

A terrorist bombing destroys the Kremlin and the United States government shuts down the entire Impossible Mission Force, as it is believed that Ethan Hunt and his team are responsible for the attack. However they were allowed to escape and received authorization to operate outside the agency.

On the other hand, Hunt is warned that if any member of his team is captured, they will be charged as terrorists. Hunt is obligated to work with Brandt, an ex-IMF agent who knows more about Ethan than Ethan himself.
