Footloose is a remake of the 1984 homonymous film. The story revolves around Ren McCormack (Kenny Wormald), a young man who moves from Chicago to Bomont and refuses to obey the town rules.

Ren discovers that a few years before he came to town, an accident occured and five young people died after having a wild night down town. The city council and reverend Shaw Moore (Dennis Quaid) decided to apply some tough rules to prevent another simillar accident and  stated that dancing and rock music are forbidden.

Ren has a shock in Bomont and, having no intention in obeying the rules, he rebels against the law and falls in love with the reverend's daughter, Ariel.
