Dream House is a horror film starring  Daniel Craig, Rachel Weisz and Naomi Watts. The story is centered on Will Atenton (Daniel Craig) and Libby (Rachel Weisz), husband and wife, who decide to move to New England.

Will, a succesful publisher, quits his job and relocates with his wife and children to a New England town. Once they settle into their new home, they discover that their house was once the place were a murder took place: a woman and her children were killed but the killer was never found. The town people think that the dead woman's husband was guilty for the horrid murder but unfortunately the police never searched him.

The only person who helps Will with his private investigation is Ann Paterson (Naomi Watts), his neighbour who had a close relationship with the victims of the murder.
