Details

Bel Ami is a drama film starring Robert Pattinson and Uma Thurman. The film is based on the French novel of the same name written by Guy de Maupassant. Robert Pattinson is Georges Duroy, a young journalist who becomes one of the most influential men in Paris by manipulating the city's most wealthy and powerful women.

The action is set in France and revolves around Georges Duroy, an ex military who meets his former comrade, Forestier and starts his career as a journalist. He starts flirting with Forestier's wife (Uma Thurman) who helps him write his articles and with her friend, Madame de Marelle (Christina Ricci). Later on, he starts an affair with Madame Walter (Kristin Scott Thomas), the wife of the newspaper's owner.

He is now one of the most successful men in Paris.
