You can turn much of that phoning-home off, or at least reduce it. But it's clear that Google doesn't see Chrome as just another browser. It's more like the front end for a Web-browsing software-as-a-service offering.

Relax. Right now, Chrome is a beta with significant security problems yet to be addressed. By definition, it's not ready -- that's what beta means.

Bugs and security holes will be fixed. But Chrome's basic business model won't change.

So when you start evaluating it -- and you should -- don't just test how well it serves up Web applications, how robust it is or whether it really is a better browser.

Think about this: Are you ready to trust a software-as-a-service model for just about everything your users do?

si eu care consider asta chiar o facilitate ... de exemplu banuiesc ca casuta de search din firefox, setata pe gugal, la fel face ... la opera speram sa gasesc asa ceva implicit, dar de unde ... chiar si ie ar fi putut face la, dar cu livesarchiul lor. In concluzie, cum am mai spus, sugestiile din bara de adrese sunt destul de folositoare pentru utilizatorul normal

da mi se pare ridicol pt ca nu postez nimic secret sa care sa intre la capitolul drepturi de autor.....punct....

faza dubioasa azi ... dau click pe utilitarul de instalare (browserul nu e instalat pe pc-ul de acasa) si nu vad nici un buton de cancel!!! ... dau close si se opreste ... cateva ore mai tarziu, nush ce googleupdater cere voie de la firewall sa acceseze netul!!! de cand si cu voia cui?! ca eu n-am nici o aplicatie/toolbar sau mai stiu eu ce prostie google instalata pe pc

Foarte bun. E si mai rapid, are si grafica mai buna, e si mai bine structurat. M-am indragostit.

dupa cat l-ati laudat pe aici l-am incercat si eu insa imi incetineste navigarea f mult... nu stiu de ce dar incarca foarte greu... am si mozilla si nu mai mergea nici ala bine...l-am dezinstalat si poi a inceput mozilla sa mearga iar struna... asa ca raman cu mozilla ! sa fie oare ca le aveam pe amandoua .. desi nu vad legatura..??

L-am instalat de vreo luna..timp in care a mers foarte bine, se misca bine si cu mai multe tab-uri deschise. Dar de cateva zile s-a cam schimbat problema, se deschide greeeeu cam la 15 sec (da 15) si cand am peste 3 taburi deschise..sta procesoru la 80-90%, mai ales daca vad un filmulet..merge sacadat. Nu am decat 4 extensii instalate, deci nu e prea incarcat. Nu e problema la PC pt ca Firefox merge perfect.

Chiar acum il folosesc , sunt intrat pe el , imi place la nebunie , se misca foarte bine , acceseaza paginile rapid.
