Nu exista varianta pentru retea, exista doar un patch care-ti permite sa joci pe LAN cu prietenii. Rulezi serverul ala mic pe un calculator si cate un client pe fiecare calculator.

Mai exista un demo la un joc ce sa-ar zice ca ii fac concurenta NFSU-ului. Se numeste Juiced, dar pe mine nu m-a impresionat prea mult, poate si fiindca are bug-uri destule si parca ii lipseste ceva din viata NFS.

Cei de la EA Canada au anuntat intr-o conferinta de presa ca se lucreaza la Need for Speed Most Wanted. Acest ultim joc din serie este asteptat sa apara pe PC, Xbox, PS2, GC, GBA, DS si PSP. Cei de la EA ne promit noi curse ilegale intr-un stil Hollywood-ian alaturi de politie.

Data de lansare a mult asteptatului joc este 15 Noiembrie.

Electronic Arts au anuntat ca vor lansa si o editie speciala pentru Most Wanted in luna Noiembrie, doar pentru: Xbox, PS2 si PC. Need for Speed Most Wanted Black Edition va cuprinde mai multe masini in exclusivitate, chestii exclusive pentru tunning, multe filmulete, tot in exclusivitate, un DVD bonus din spatele cortinelor cu actrita Josie Maran si artwork la greu.
