salut

Pan-STARRS will also measure proper motion and parallax and should thereby discover a large number of brown dwarfs and white dwarfs and other nearby faint objects, and it should be able to conduct a complete census of all stars within 100 parsecs of the Sun.

Among the objects WISE will study are cool, dim stars such as brown dwarfs, asteroids, and the most luminous infrared galaxies.

- Iata doua misiuni importante, prima functionala din 2006, a doua din 2009, acestea vor descoperi noi exo-planete si sisteme planetare intunecate, intre Sistemul solar si Alfa centauri (4,5 a.l).

Rogue planet

This article is about a type of astronomical object. For other uses, see Rogue planet (disambiguation).
A rogue planet is an object which has equivalent mass to a planet and is not gravitationally bound to any star, and that therefore moves through space as an independent object. Several astronomers claim to have detected such objects (for example, S Ori 70), but those detections remain unconfirmed.[1]
