Tattoos

Do any of you have tattoos?? I dont and dont plan on ever having any. I don't mind them, I even think a lot of them look really good. It's just I think I would get bored of looking at the same thing for the rest of my life.
A lot of my friends have tattoos, and some are covered in them. But I have never had the urge to have one done.
Anyone here have any?

I know lots of people with tattoos. When I was playing in a blues band, people were getting them during gigs, just for the fun of it (and I don't mean the temporary ones). Some tattoos look good on some people. I know a few girls with tattoos that look okay. But you're right... the problem is time. It's hard to imagine a 60-year old with a "Sepultura" tattoo on her/his back

One of my girl friends has her whol arm covered. I wonder if she will still like them when she is 60. but maybe by then tattoo's will be easier to remove?

Dunno', could be. If not, by then they'll be all wrinkled

The thing that prompted me to start this topic was because i saw a girl in my lunch break with her boyfriends name tattooed across her upper arm. It just looked so horrible

people's name as tattoos are plain silly. getting someone out of your life is hard enough, why make it double trouble by getting them under your skin... literally
i was thinking of getting a tattoo at one point. i am too chicken, though. it all depends on the tattoo and on where you have it, i guess. i wouldn't go for lover's names, football teams, electoral slogans or whatever. and getting them where you're likely to get all wrinkly is not an option either.
