Kutting Edge reprezinta miscarea liquid din Frankfurt prin showurile „Solid soul“ si emisiune saptamanala de radio Krunchtime. Mikey Romeo reprezinta probabil cel mai complex MC din Germania. Originar din Caraibe si cu un background musical impresionant, prins intre calatoriile dintre Londra si Frankfurt, el ne face o vizita in Tg.Mures si ne promite un show de zile mari.
Cel de-al treilea invitat este Cornflex, venind din Dresden, el de altfel se va afla a doua oare fata in fata cu publicul muresean.
Inchiderea si deschiderea eventului va fi asigurata de gazdele din acea seara. Dan Bazix si Addo reprezentand miscarea locala.

He has already seen quite something arounfd the world – the mic master with the friendly smile, which always seems to be meant personally to everyone in the audience. But he is far away from being tired. Being in the music business for over 20 years, now, Mikey relentlessly keeps on spreading the formula of „Dealing with the Highs and the Lows of Life“ with his energetic live appearances.
That comes probably natural when you are born on the carribean island of St. Vincent and moving to the slipstream of London where the father works as a DJ. It’s Soul and Funk and a whole lot of Reggae what moved him back then and what he still counts as his big influences.
Before he moved to Frankfurt/Main in early 90s he had already worked as MC and singer in the UK Garage and Drum&Bass scene for a while. Since then he lives and works in the underground of Germany’s ultimate Babylon town, mashing it up from the underground.
Mike Romeo’s flavoured lyrics are not limited to a certain style but have been heard along Soul/Funk Nights, Dub and 2Step Sessions, as well as big Reggae clashs. In the studio he has been working with different producers like Frank Farian (Milli Vanilli), Shantel (Bucovina Club) and even Oldschool Dancefloor formations.
But he has always found himself in drum&bass music the most, he admits with a big grin and points out his residency for the netlabel TRACKDONALDS records and the intense studio work with Kuttin Edge and Beatkonexion, at the moment.
Due to his unforgettable shows he once earned the title of the „FRANK SINATRA“ of the jungle.

Trackdonalds is a new online label by Solid Soul Records (Frankfurt/Ger) serving Drum and Bass and Electronic Beats. We are releasing carefully selected material, we're not a store like beatport for instance. THE SOUND The music is based on deep, minimal and soulful styles - club tracks definately. We have some more techno-ish tunes as well as some dubwise. In the Electronic section you will find Non-DnB such as jazzy Electronica and Dubstep.
THE ARTISTS
Most of the Artists are Family - Drum and Bass DJs from Frankfurt, Berlin and Cologne - including the likes of Henree, Chopper, Draft, Miguel Ayala and Beatkonexion. Furthermore new sensations Man Vs Grizzly and also Mike Romeo, a caribbean Singer who's grown up in London, showcasing some of his remarkable vocal tracks. As for Electronic you should definately check RTZ23 from Berlin with his smoked-out sound. THE CONCEPT First of all we want to feature music we like of course. Over the years we had access to so many unreleased music we decided to establish this label. Due to the amount of tunes it was a decision for the online format. We knew online labels often seems to have a 2nd class touch to it. Sometimes they look boring like a linkfarm and there's no artwork to the tracks. No-one recommends you music as in a record store - depending on your taste. So there was something what we wanted to do different. At first the website interface and design had to give people a Drum and Bass kind of atmosphere. Also we integrated automatic recommendations depending on tags, community elements like comments, free tracks/downloads, limited edition releases for subscriber and a rss feed of course.
