Dar Domnica Seif Elyazal a devenit scriitoare pentru ca, spune ea, a simtit nevoia sa se exteriorizeze. Si a scris o poveste de dragoste inspirata din viata ei si a altor catorva romance care au parasit Romania pentru a-si urma sotii in Sudan. Prima parte a romanului Domnicai Seif Elyazal, "Love and Dispair", este deja in librarii si online. Una dintre cele mai mari edituri din Statele Unite a publicat-o. A doua parte a romanului va iesi si ea in curand din tipar. Iar scriitoarea deja lucreaza la o alta carte. "Am inceput sa scriu si nu am putut sa ma opresc pana nu am terminat. Mi-a luat aproape patru ani de cand am inceput-o si pana a vazut lumina tiparului, in SUA, statul Indiana", povesteste romanca. Cartea este inregistrata la Biblioteca Congresului American. Bravo lor! Basil Bucsek JULY 21, 1943 – NOVEMBER 7, 2020 Our father Reverend Basil Vasile Bucsek was born on 7/21/1943 in Bocicoiul Mare, Maramureș, Romania and went to be with God on 11/7/2020 He was ordained as a Romanian Orthodox priest on 11/15/1968, and served at his first Romanian Parrish in Șopteriu, Bistrița Năsăud. A few years later he was asked to serve in Cămpulung la Tisa, Maramureș. He then served in a Hungarian Parrish in Porumbești, Satu Mare & then at a Ukrainian Parrish Remeți, Maramureș. In 1981 our father and mother Maria, along with his brother and his wife sacrificed their lives, left behind communist Romania to promise a better future for their children in the United States of America. He was accepted into the Ukrainian Catholic diocese of Stamford and served in parishes in Cohoes, New York, Rochester, NY, Kerhonkson, NY, Lorraine, Ohio, Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska, Denver, Colorado, Tucson, Arizona. After retirement, our father served at the Romanian orthodox churches in Portland, Oregon, Palm Springs, California, Clearwater/ Tampa, Florida, and Charlotte, North Carolina. He is resting at Advantage Funeral home in Youngtown, Arizona. The wake / viewing will be on Wednesday on 11/18/20 from 6-8pm and the funeral mass at St. John the Baptist Romanian Orthodox Church in Glendale, Arizona on Thursday 11/19/20 at 9:30am, followed by the burial at St. Anthony’s Greek Orthodox monastery in Florence, Arizona where he will be laid to rest in eternal memory in God’s hands! He is survived by his wife of 53 years Maria Bucsek, daughter Halya Yost, son Volodea Bucsek, daughter Marusea Bucsek-Edmunds, sons-in-law Roger J. Yost, John Edmunds and grandchildren Katrina Edmunds, Adriana Edmunds, Andrew Edmunds and Nicholas Edmunds, as well as his cat Willow! Our father loved life, nature, travel, animals, people, social events, laughter, loved saying jokes, sang, played the mandolin, guitar, harmonica, accordion, painted, enjoyed all kinds of fruits and vegetables and we’re proud of all of his accomplishments and the values he instilled in us! He always meant well, even though we didn’t always listen to his advice . He always read and shared stories and facts with us, he was a wise man!
